Lesson 1 - Twisted Reality One of the important details concerning the close of this
age is given to us in II Thessalonians 2:10 concerning those who
do not receive a love of the truth. Not only are they subject
to the deceptions of the enemy, they are also subject to strong
delusion from God. When we receive a love of the truth, we
embrace the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, to guide us into
all truth and enlighten our understanding. The Holy Spirit
"untwists" our perception of reality received from the fall and
continues to speak to us the things of Jesus. DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
Lesson 2 - Present Work of
the Holy Spirit This lesson explores the importance that Jesus placed on the
Holy Spirit and His continuing work in our lives. Scriptural
examples are given that show the ongoing work of the Spirit in
us individually and corporately including current application to
the calling forth and directing of workers appointed by the Holy
Spirit. CLASS HANDOUTS DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
Lesson 3 - Seed of the Kingdom This lesson begins with the importance of the work of the Holy
Spirit today and shows that God's primary purpose deals with the
restoration of the Kingdom of God. We have applied everything
to Church and ignored the Kingdom. However, the Gospels mention
the Kingdom of God over a hundred times and mentions the Church
only three times and two of those are in the same verse.
Note:the second half of this lesson includes a number
of comments from the students about how this affects their
understanding of what God is doing in their lives. DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
Lesson 4 - Gospel of the Kingdom The gospel of the Kingdom is the end time message according to
Jesus. It is important that we understand what the gospel of
the Kingdom is and that we are actually preaching it. This
lesson looks at the gospel according to Jesus and the gospel
according to Paul and compares it with the gospel according to
the institutional church. The second half of the class is a
discussion about our modern version of the gospel of salvation
and its relationship to the gospel of the Kingdom and the
question is discussed concerning the possibility that we have
created another gospel with a different Jesus than the Jesus of
the gospel of the Kingdom. DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
Lesson 5 - Disciples of the
Kingdom Revelation understanding comes to the disciples of the Lord. To
those who are not disciples, the Lord speaks in parables. This
lesson looks at the necessity of following Jesus as a disciple
of the Kingdom and of the King. The requirements and the cost
of being a disciple is discussed along with the difference
between being a student and a disciple. Obedience to the law of
the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is contrasted with
lawlessness. The shortcoming of our gospel of easy grace is
shown when compared to the commands of our Lord Jesus. DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
Lesson 6 - Transition to the
Kingdom The Church gives us the impression that no commands of law are
applicable to us but that we are under grace. However, Jesus'
commands are the laws of the Kingdom of God. They are written
on our heart by the Holy Spirit and are designed to set us free
from the law of sin and death. The Kingdom comes within us and
begins to grow in such a manner as to change our character and
our conduct. It is through Kingdom law that the Kingdom of God
finds internal expression in us and an external expression to
the world. DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
Lesson 7 - Application of
Kingdom Law Part 1 Jesus told us to take His yoke upon us and learn of Him and that
His yoke was easy and His burden light. It may be easy and
light but it is still a yoke. We cannot go our own way if we
are disciples of Jesus. In Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7 Jesus
begins to apply to us the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ,
which is meant to set us free from bondage. As the Kingdom is
formed within us it begins to be manifested outwardly in our
conduct. The application of the law of the kingdom within is
the law of the spirit of life written on our hearts. This
lesson brings forth the first seven laws of the Kingdom as
applied in the sermon on the mount. DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
Lesson 8 - Application of
Kingdom Law Part 2 This lesson continues the previous lesson with the next laws of
the Kingdom as applied in the sermon on the mount. It also
discusses the fact that Gentiles have never had a covenant with
God prior to the New Covenant in the blood of Jesus and how the
Lord has made the Jew and the Gentile to be one by removing the
wall of separation. God has one people not two. Jesus is the
Shepherd of one flock not two. This is brought forth as part of
the application of the Kingdom of God to us. DOWNLOAD MP3 NOW
